CLASSICAL PILATES

Pilates is a movement system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century. He grew up as an avid skier, diver, gymnast and boxer however his ideas came from rehabilitating prisoners from World War I. He rigged springs to hospital beds, enabling bedridden patients to exercise against resistance.

The method works to stretch, strengthen and uniformly develop the body, transforming people mentally, physically and spiritually. This unique set of exercises creates uniform development, proper breathing, flexible and decompressed spine joints and robust circulation.
